Job summary

S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. seeks a Leasing Consultant for our Columbia Grove community in Arlington, VA. You will conduct apartment tours, process applications, and lease units to maintain occupancy and resident satisfaction.

The role requires knowledge of Fair Housing and Landlord-Tenant laws, plus basic real estate training. A valid driver's license may be needed; weekends may be required. Benefits include PTO, holidays, and health coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required or equivalent.
• Some advanced real estate training including familiarity with Landlord-Tenant and Fair Housing laws recommended.
• Valid Driver’s License if operating a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provides tours of apartments to prospective residents.
• Runs credit reports on prospective residents.
• Leases units.
• Maintains logs of traffic through the property.
• Provides information over the telephone to prospective residents.
• Maintains a visible public relations attitude toward current and prospective residents.
• Typing and filing property–related reports.
• May assist with rent collection, bank deposits, or other general errands.
• May assist with resident retention activities.
