S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Leasing Consultant to maximize occupancy by guiding prospective residents through tours, processing applications, and presenting leasing options.

You will conduct credit checks, prepare lease packets, coordinate with the Community Manager, and maintain a positive public presence while upholding Fair Housing laws; weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Some advanced real estate training including familiarity with landlord-tenant and Fair Housing laws; prior leasing experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License if operating a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Abides by Fair Housing Laws.
• Provides tours of apartments to prospective residents.
• Runs credit reports on prospective residents.
• Prepares lease packets.
• Inspects apartments prior to showing them.
• Leases units.
• Provides information over the telephone to prospective residents.
• Maintains a positive public relations attitude toward residents.
