Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Leasing Associate to manage leasing, marketing and resident relations for a property in Longview. You will host tours, process applications, verify credit, and prepare move-in paperwork while upholding Fair Housing guidelines.

The role requires teamwork with maintenance and office staff, a flexible schedule including weekends, and strong customer service skills to close leases and sustain positive occupancy.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Microsoft Office, Property Management Software required

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries to schedule tours (virtual, self-guided, and in-person)
• Greet and qualify prospects; assist with applications and deposits per procedures and Fair Housing
• Process applications with credit checks and rental history verification
• Coordinate with Community Manager on applicant status
• Show apartments and close sales; prepare move-ins and signatures on paperwork
• Maintain active social media presence to enhance visibility and engagement
• Resolve resident issues promptly to improve satisfaction and retention
• Close sales including appointments, tours, lead generation, and follow-up
• Utilize marketing strategies to drive traffic within the Marketing Plan and budget
• Represent the community positively to achieve objectives and recognition
• Plan resident functions to boost retention; attend after-hours events as host
• Complete lease/move-in/check-out paperwork timely
• Attend weekly/daily goal meetings; collaborate with maintenance on requests
