Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Specialist to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for our apartment communities. You will greet prospects, conduct tours, process applications, screen applicants, and prepare leases to ensure occupancy and revenue targets.

You will inspect units, monitor market conditions, develop marketing plans, and execute campaigns across Craigslist, Facebook, email, and other channels. Strong customer service and sales skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in leasing and renting apartments to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
• Ability to conduct property tours, screen applicants, and prepare lease documents.
• Strong marketing and internet advertising skills to drive traffic.
• Valid driver’s license required to operate on-site golf carts.

Responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve revenue and occupancy goals, including greeting prospects, conducting tours, processing applications, credit screening, and preparing lease/move-in packages.
• Inspect apartments prior to move-in and ensure units are move-in ready; coordinate maintenance as needed.
• Develop and implement short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy and follow policies on concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing activities to drive traffic (Craigslist, Facebook, email, etc.) and follow community marketing plans.
• Use OneSite/Yardi to track availability, traffic, and resident data.
• Ensure show units meet company standards by inspecting marketing corridor and coordinating maintenance and upkeep.
• Follow up with prospects and new residents to finalize lease decisions and renewals.
• Support lease renewal program by preparing renewal letters/packages and contacting renewing residents.
• Respond quickly to resident or owner concerns and document requests.
