Job summary

BH Management, LLC is seeking a Leasing Consultant to respond to inquiries, market units, and lease or renew apartments in line with company standards and Fair Housing guidelines.

The role requires strong customer service and sales skills, with duties spanning marketing, move-ins, inspections, and resident communications at our Illinois property. Schedule is Monday–Friday with adaptability to business needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
• Demonstrated sales and closing skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people.
• Must have state leasing license or ability to obtain it within required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily marketing, administrative, and financial operations of the property.
• Stay informed on local market specials and floor plans to inform prospects.
• Process lease applications for approval and prepare new lease contracts.
• Tour prospects of vacant/model units and common areas; inspect pre-lease units.
• Log prospect information into the property management system accurately.
• Respond to emails, voicemails, and text messages regarding inquiries.
• Promote promotions and leasing incentives and update records accordingly.
• Assist with Move Out Vacant Inspection Checklist (MOVIC) and related tasks.
• Post notices to vacate and other community communications as needed.
• Support daily property inspections and ensure policy compliance.
