Job summary

BH Management, LLC is seeking a Leasing Consultant in Schaumburg, IL. The role focuses on responding to inquiries, leasing, and renewing apartment leases while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced property setting.

The position requires strong organizational and communication skills, knowledge of the local market, and the ability to work with a diverse group of people. Experience in a customer-facing role and a state leasing license (or ability to obtain one) are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing/customer service role.
• Demonstrated sales and closing skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people.
• Where required by law, must have state leasing license or ability to obtain the required license(s) within the timeframe required by law.

Responsibilities

• Responds to inquiries/leads from prospective clients to identify potential renters.
• Markets, leases, and renews apartment leases in accordance with Company standards and Fair Housing guidelines.
• Provides excellent customer service and represents the company professionally.
• Maintains knowledge of community and local market competitor’s specials and floor plans.
• Processes lease applications and prepares new lease contracts.
• Inspects units prior to tours and move-ins; coordinates with team.
• Logs prospect information into Property Management software.
• Responds to emails, voicemails, and texts in a timely manner.
• Stays up to date with promotions/leasing incentives.
• Assists with Move Out Vacant Inspections and other duties as assigned.
