Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC in San Diego, CA, seeks a Leasing Associate to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals. You will greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, process applications, screen credits and background checks, and prepare move-in packages for a smooth resident experience.

The role requires 1–2 years of leasing experience, weekend availability, and the ability to work with on-site software such as OneSite or Yardi.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of leasing experience required.
• Lease-up experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license to operate golf cart

Responsibilities

• Performs all sales and leasing activities to achieve revenue and occupancy goals by greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting tours, showing apartments, processing applications, credit screening and background checks, preparing lease and move-in package, and ensuring a smooth move-in and lease signing.
• Inspects apartments prior to move-in and ensures move-in readiness; coordinates maintenance as needed.
• Stays informed about market and competitor conditions; develops and implements marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Designs and executes marketing activities to drive traffic (Craigslist, Facebook, email, and other websites) and follows community marketing plans and programs.
• Uses on-site management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, leasing activities, and resident data.
• Ensures show unit quality by inspecting marketing corridor, communicating needs to maintenance, merchandising, and prepping the leasing office.
• Follows up with prospects and residents to confirm lease decisions and renewals.
• Supports lease renewal program by preparing renewal letters and packages and coordinating with renewing residents.
• Responds promptly to resident/owner questions and documents requests.
