General Services Corporation (GSC) is seeking an energetic leasing professional to assist in managing an apartment community in Richmond, VA. The role focuses on showing apartments, securing leases, and sustaining occupancy at premium levels.

The ideal candidate has outstanding sales ability and at least one year of leasing experience, with strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate leasing paperwork and resident relations.

Qualifications

• Must have outstanding sales ability and at least 1 year of leasing experience in a computerized environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with residents, prospects, and coworkers.
• Ability to supervise and motivate people, and to work with others in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage apartment community operations and budgeting guidance.
• Lease apartments at optimum rent levels; convert walk-ins and calls into scheduled tours and leases.
• Maintain waiting list, follow up with applicants, and conduct credit and reference checks.
• Prepare leases and conduct move-in orientations; manage move-in/move-out paperwork.
• Coordinate utility connections and disconnections; inspect vacant units and ongoing property maintenance.
• Respond to resident concerns, enforce policies, and promote resident satisfaction and retention.
