Job summary

Ascension Commercial Real Estate LLC in Houston, TX seeks a Community Manager to lead an apartment community end to end. You will drive occupancy, manage leasing, resident relations, maintenance and financial performance.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and communication skills with a focus on developing a high-performing team and ensuring regulatory compliance. This position is based in Houston.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in property management or related field
• Experience supervising staff
• Knowledge of fair housing laws and applicable regulations
• Knowledge of financial and budgeting principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Own the overall operation of the community: leasing, resident relations, maintenance, and financial performance
• Drive occupancy, revenue, and property value while controlling expenses
• Manage core processes: marketing, accounts receivable/payable, budgeting, and vendor relations
• Recruit, lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team
• Identify and solve problems to keep the property on track; communicate performance and needs with the Regional Supervisor and relevant teams
