Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee operations at an apartment community in Austin, TX. You will lead staff, manage leasing and service requests, and ensure financial and occupancy targets are met.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership and communication skills, 3+ years in multi-family property management, and proficiency with property management software and MS Office. On-site role with a focus on resident satisfaction and team development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years of related multi-family property management experience.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Team player, professional, and effective communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead property staff, oversee onboarding, training, timesheet approvals and performance reviews.
• Drive team to meet performance indicators and manage disciplinary actions with HR.
• Conduct ongoing training on leasing paperwork, safety and daily operations.
• Motivate staff through recognition, training, and team-building activities.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitor adherence to budgets.
• Prepare month-end and year-end financial reports and variance analyses.
• Ensure resident satisfaction by promptly addressing complaints and requests.
• Collaborate with maintenance to meet resident service requests.
• Provide excellent customer service while upholding high standards.
• Analyze market trends and support marketing in leasing strategies to hit occupancy goals.
• Follow eviction procedures when needed, including notice and court processes.
• Maintain positive owner relationships through updates and property tours.
