Job summary

Adara Communities is hiring an Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician for our MacArthur Park community. You will perform hands-on maintenance, assist with service requests, and help upgrade units with a focus on safety and resident satisfaction.

The role requires at least 2 years of apartment maintenance experience, a valid HVAC license, and the ability to work on-call. A personal toolset, valid license, and reliable transportation are expected, with relocation possible for the right

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years apartment maintenance experience in multifamily industry (REQUIRED).
• Valid HVAC License (REQUIRED).
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, pools, and general repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting and time-management abilities.
• A personal set of basic hand tools.
• Willingness to work on-call as scheduled.
• A positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.

Working Environment for the Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician:

This role requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. Team members must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.

Most work occurs in an outdoor environment, with occasional off-site tasks as needed. All employees must adhere to the company's uniform policy, provided on the first day of employment.
