Job summary

Adara Communities is hiring an Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician in Addison, TX. You will handle daily service requests, assist with make-readies and upgrades, and perform preventive maintenance across plumbing, electrical, appliances, and pools.

You’ll work closely with the Lead Maintenance Technician, contribute to a safe and clean community, and participate in on-call rotations. A valid HVAC license and a 20-mile radius living requirement apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of apartment maintenance experience in multifamily housing.
• HVAC license is required.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, pools, and general repairs.
• Troubleshooting and time-management abilities are essential.
• Own a basic set of hand tools and a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work on-call as scheduled.
• Live within 20 miles of the property or be willing to relocate.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.

What We're Looking For in an Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician:

• Valid HVAC License REQUIRED

• Strong troubleshooting and time-management abilities
• A personal set of basic hand tools
• Willingness to work on-call as scheduled
• A positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
• Important: Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.

Working Environment For The Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician

This role requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. Team members must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
Most work occurs in an outdoor environment, with occasional off-site tasks as needed. All employees must adhere to the company's uniform policy, provided on the first day of employment.
