Job summary

Adara Communities is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to lead and train maintenance staff, manage service requests, and coordinate make-readies at the Timberlake property. The role emphasizes timely, high-quality results and safety in a multifamily environment.

Applicants should have 2+ years of maintenance experience, HVAC certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in a team. Willingness to join on-call rotation is required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in multifamily housing (required).
• HVAC certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Stable work history.
• Own a basic set of hand tools.
• Experience coaching and leading service technicians.
• Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
• Must live within 20 miles of the property or be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

What We're Looking For In The Apartment Maintenance Technician

• Minimum 2 Years Previous Experience as a Maintenance Technician in multifamily housing REQUIRED
• Valid HVAC Certification REQUIRED
• Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation

• A personal set of basic hand tools
• Proven ability to coach, train, and lead service technicians
• Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and time-management skills
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation

• Important: Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.

Working Environment Of The Apartment Maintenance Technician

This role requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. Team members must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.

Most work occurs in an outdoor environment, with occasional off-site tasks as needed. All employees must adhere to the company's uniform policy, provided on the first day of employment.
