Job summary

Adara Communities is seeking an experienced Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician for The Westerly in Houston. The role involves responding to resident service requests, assisting with unit make-readies and upgrades, and performing general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, and pool upkeep.

You will work with the Lead Maintenance Technician on projects and participate in on-call rotations, using your own tools and delivering excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years apartment maintenance experience in multifamily communities.
• HVAC license is REQUIRED.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, pools and general repairs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily service requests for residents.
• Support unit make-readies and apartment upgrades.
• Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, appliances, pool upkeep.
• Work with Lead Maintenance Technician on assigned projects.
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled.

Team members must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.Most work occurs in an outdoor environment, with occasional off-site tasks as needed.
