Job summary

DWS Group is seeking a Risk Manager AVP to lead risk strategy for its Taiwan operations. The role focuses on establishing a robust risk framework, aligning policies with regulatory requirements, and coordinating with Investment, Compliance, and Product teams to manage risk across asset classes.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong English and Chinese communication skills, and a track record in governance and risk analytics.

Qualifications

• University degree in Statistics/Finance/Engineering or similar.
• Minimum 5 years of risk/asset management experience at a well‑established institution.
• Certifications like CFA or FRM are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk strategy for DWS FE Taiwan across risk types and businesses.
• Align risk management policies with regulatory frameworks.
• Collaborate with Investment, Compliance, and Product Management teams.
• Develop governance systems, risk measurement and escalation processes.
• Support decision making and governance around risk for client portfolios.
• Assess investment targets for credit quality, ESG, and climate impact.
• Maintain asset valuation governance and regular reporting.
• Assist APAC CRO with regional risk monitoring and management reporting.
