Job summary

Nebius is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to build and operate network infrastructure in the APAC region during early expansion. You will balance hands-on SRE work with regional team leadership to scale reliability as the region grows.

You will define SLIs/SLOs, own incident response, and drive observability and automation across data centers and inter-site connectivity, collaborating with Europe teams to embed operability in design.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in SRE or infra engineering with team leadership or tech lead.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and methodical debugging of complex systems.
• Solid networking knowledge and fault-domain understanding.
• Experience writing automation in Go or Python.
• Proficient with modern infra tooling: IaC, CI/CD, containers.

Responsibilities

• Define and own reliability goals for APAC network services and critical paths.
• Drive reliability improvements across APAC network infra and new data centers.
• Own incident response, lead investigations and postmortems, establish on-call.
• Build observability: metrics, logs, traces, alerts for faster debugging.
• Design safe change workflows with automation, canaries, rollbacks, audits.
• Hire, onboard, and mentor first SREs in APAC region.
• Collaborate with network engineers and platform teams across APAC/Europe.
