Job summary

Openkrill is seeking a seasoned technical advisor to guide customers from opportunity through delivery, including PoCs, design, and enablement activities. You will drive technical validation, create tailored solutions, and present demonstrations to stakeholders.

You will collaborate with clients and channel partners to define objectives, scope, and success criteria, ensuring a smooth transition to delivery and ongoing technical support across projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Pre-sales, Sales Engineering, Solution Architect or Technical Consulting in a customer-facing role.
• Knowledge of industrial products and applications like PLC, DCS and HMI platforms by OT vendors.
• Advanced in English and Japanese and readiness for travel (including overseas).
• Experience in people management (e.g., SE manager) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical advisor throughout the customer journey from opportunity identification to delivery.
• Lead PoCs, develop tailored solutions, and conduct presentations, workshops, and enablement activities.
• Collaborate with customers and channel partners to validate objectives, success criteria, and ROI.
• Prepare requirements, design proposals, and perform fit/gap analyses.
• Bridge pre-sales and delivery, ensuring smooth project handoff and risk mitigation.
• Support channel partners with technical proposals and PoC delivery.
• Interact with customers to articulate complex technical concepts in business terms.
