Job summary

CIQ is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect to drive go-to-market efforts in Japan. You’ll pair with the Sr.

Account Executive to engage prospects, enable partners, and ensure technical success from pre-sales through post-sales engagements. Design solutions with CIQ’s RLC, Fuzzball, Warewulf, and Apptainer, guiding customers through evaluation, adoption, and scaling. Ideal candidates are senior technical experts with Linux experience and strong customer-facing skills, fluent in Japanese and

Qualifications

• Senior-level technical expert with strong customer-facing experience and deep familiarity with Linux-based infrastructure.
• Passionate about open source and confident in supporting performance-intensive environments (HPC, AI/ML, hybrid cloud).
• Fluent in Japanese and confident communicating in English (written and verbal).
• Remote-friendly, able to collaborate with a remote-first team and multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Senior Account Executive to understand customer needs, design solutions, and support sales opportunities.
• Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and hands-on workshops to showcase CIQ solutions.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, solution architecture design, and proof-of-concept deployments.
• Provide guidance on infrastructure integration, deployment best practices, and performance tuning.
• Support partner enablement by delivering technical training and architecture guidance to local system integrators and resellers.
• Serve as a bridge between customers and CIQ engineering, advocating for product enhancements and roadmap alignment.
