Job summary

Openkrill is seeking a Senior CloudOps Engineer to operate and improve Azure production environments for APAC customer workloads. The role requires APAC-hours coverage and collaboration with SL2, European CloudOps, and application teams to ensure smooth go-lives and ongoing reliability.

You will implement changes per security and change-management procedures, automate operations, and maintain thorough documentation of configurations and runbooks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in CloudOps/DevOps with senior ownership.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Azure production workloads.
• Experience with AKS, Azure networking, Front Door/WAF, API Management.
• Familiar with IaC and automation (Terraform, Bicep, ARM).
• Proficient in monitoring and incident management across time zones.
• Strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain Azure production environments during APAC business hours
• Support go-lives, releases and hypercare, including validation and rollback
• Monitor service health, investigate incidents, coordinate resolution with teams
• Support Azure components: AKS, networking, Front Door/WAF, API Management, databases, storage, Key Vault, monitoring
• Implement changes per change-management and security procedures
• Contribute to root-cause analysis and improvements for reliability
• Improve operations via scripting and IaC, runbooks and automation
• Maintain documentation for environments and configurations
• Contribute to observability and alerting improvements using Azure Monitor, Grafana, OpenTelemetry
