Job summary

Ashland Specialty Chemical is seeking a Regional Business Development Manager for the Asia-Pacific region. You will develop and execute growth strategies, strengthen distributor performance, and expand engagement across APAC, with about 30% travel.

Reporting to the Business Leader, Diagnostic Films, you will identify new opportunities for Ashland’s Gafchromic and Rad-Sure portfolios and collaborate with distributors and key stakeholders to drive long-term adoption and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, channel management, or commercial leadership.
• Experience managing distributors, channel partners, or strategic customer relationships.
• Fluency in English and ability to travel up to 30% throughout APAC.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional growth strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets across APAC.
• Lead distributor relationships and drive performance through reviews, planning, and capability development.
• Identify and pursue new market opportunities, applications, customer segments, and strategic accounts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver objectives and support growth.
