Job summary

Westinghouse is seeking an AP1000 Training Manager to lead a team of technical and operations instructors, developing workforce capabilities, delivering training, mentoring staff, and ensuring programs align with business needs. The role includes hands‑on training delivery and periodic travel.

You will report to the Senior Director, Nuclear Operations, Training, and Commissioning, be based at Cranberry Township, PA, and participate in a hybrid work model with on‑site collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in PWR Operations and/or Technical Training.
• SRO PWR would be beneficial.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a training environment.
• Strong knowledge of SAT and training processes and certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop instructors and promote technical excellence.
• Deliver operations and technical training and support instructor qualification programs.
• Ensure alignment with SAT and certification processes.
• Support competency development and workforce readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and cost effectiveness.
