Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company seeks an SRO Instructor to support AP1000 and operating fleet training. The role involves designing classroom, plant, and simulator courses, and coordinating training programs under the Operations and Technical Training Manager.

Hybrid work with 2–3 days onsite in Cranberry Township, PA or Madison, PA. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's in Engineering, NRC RO/SRO licenses, and at least 8 years of nuclear experience, with the ability to access nuclear

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Certified Navy Nuclear Operator with RO license
• NRC Reactor Operator (RO) license and SRO license
• Nuclear experience at a power plant site preferred
• Minimum 8 years nuclear experience and ability to obtain unescorted plant access

Responsibilities

• Participate in all stages of SAT process for initial and continuing education programs
• Design and implement training sessions for licensed and non-licensed operations personnel
• Develop classroom, plant, and simulator sessions for AP1000 SRO training
• Coordinate training programs and support training committees
• Maintain and update training documentation and advanced educational materials
