Job summary

6 Degrees Group is seeking an AP Specialist in Atlanta, GA. This is a remote role within a fast-growing subcontractor building an AP team to handle 1,000+ monthly transactions tied to active construction projects. You will code bills, process POs, and communicate with vendors using Ramp and NetSuite.

Responsibilities include coding bills and credit card transactions, creating POs from PM requests, reconciling vendor statements, and supporting month-end close. 2–4 years of AP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of accounts payable experience, ideally in a high-volume environment.
• Hands-on experience with Ramp or a similar AP automation platform, plus working knowledge of NetSuite or a comparable ERP.
• Understanding of job cost coding, POs, and project-based accounting (construction or low voltage experience is a big plus).

Responsibilities

• Code bills and credit card transactions in Ramp to the correct GL account, project, and cost category, then sync to NetSuite
• Create purchase orders from Project Manager requests and handle project transfers and reclasses to keep job cost accurate
• Reconcile vendor statements, answer vendor questions, and route bills for approval with timely follow-up
• Support month-end close and 1099 prep by verifying vendor coding and pulling supporting data

Its a remote role with a supportive AP Manager, leadership that values new ideas, and plenty of room to grow as the company expands.
