Job summary

6 Degrees Group is recruiting for a Senior AP Specialist / AP Lead in Alpharetta, GA. You will own a high-volume AP workflow, processing roughly 1,500 invoices per month across active construction projects using Ramp and NetSuite.

The role is remote for now, but local presence is expected as the company grows and considers an Atlanta office. You’ll lead process improvements and help move AP in-house.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment.
• Hands-on experience with Ramp and NetSuite (required).
• Construction, low voltage, or other project-based industry experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Code invoices and credit card transactions in Ramp to the correct GL account, project, and cost category, and sync to NetSuite.
• Create purchase orders from Project Manager requests and handle job cost transfers and reclasses.
• Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and act as the go-to contact for vendor and internal AP questions.
• Support month-end close and 1099 filing, and help shape AP processes as the function moves in-house.

The role is remote for now, but they may open an Atlanta office, so you need to be local. You'll own a high-volume AP workflow, around 1,500 invoices a month across active construction projects, using Ramp and NetSuite.
