Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking an AP Specialist in Tampa, FL with a flexible hybrid schedule. You will manage full-cycle accounts payable and/or accounts receivable, process invoices, vendor payments and cash applications, and ensure accuracy.

The role offers exposure to executive leadership, cross-functional collaboration with accounting, operations, and project teams, and opportunities to contribute to process improvements and scale with the company.

Qualifications

• Experience managing full-cycle Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable processes.
• Strong knowledge of invoicing, collections, account reconciliations, and transaction processing.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high transaction volume.
• Proficiency with accounting software and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable and/or accounts receivable activities with accuracy and efficiency.
• Process invoices, vendor payments, customer billings, and cash applications in a timely manner.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy.
• Collaborate with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders to resolve billing and payment issues.
• Serve as the AP Specialist supporting transaction processing, financial record maintenance, and workflow improvements.
• Assist with contractor billing, pay applications, and AIA documentation when applicable.
