CFS is seeking an AP/Payroll Specialist for a nonprofit in the Greater Hartford area. This fully onsite role supports payroll for 500+ employees and oversees accounts payable and basic accounting tasks within a collaborative, community-focused organization.

The position emphasizes accurate payroll processing, timely vendor payments, and teamwork in a stable, mission-driven environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Previous accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting experience.
• Payroll processing experience preferred
• Intermediate Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and filters
• Hands-on, team-oriented attitude with the flexibility to step in and assist wherever needed
• Ability to work fully onsite in the Greater Hartford area

Salary: $47,000–$60,000
