Job summary

Addison Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP function, optimize payment processing, and support month-end close. This permanent role focuses on timely, accurate vendor payments, internal controls, and collaboration with accounting and treasury teams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong GAAP foundation, 7+ years in AP with leadership, and proven ability to drive process improvements using ERP tools and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 7+ years progressive accounting/AP experience, including 2–5 years leadership.
• Experience with Excel and ERP/accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
• Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage accounts payable team and ensure policy compliance.
• Oversee procure-to-pay processes and timely vendor payments.
• Improve AP processes for efficiency, accuracy, and controls.
• Coordinate AP month-end close and reconciliations, audit support.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Procurement, Treasury and stakeholders.
