The Accounts Payable Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Accounts Payable department while leading a team responsible for accurate and timely invoice processing, vendor payments, reporting, and process improvements. Overview Of The Ap Manager Role

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts Payable team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Manage daily AP operations, workload distribution, and employee performance.

• Monitor AP aging reports and proactively resolve outstanding items.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Oversee AP automation tools and third-party integrations to improve efficiency.
• Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including:
• Days Payable Outstanding (DPO)
• Early Payment Discounts
• Invoice Exception Rates
• Conduct monthly reviews of outstanding liabilities and payment trends with finance leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, internal controls, and departmental efficiencies.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, Purchasing, and Operations to support company-wide initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and internal controls.

Preferred Qualifications For The Ap Manager
