Job summary

CBIZ Talent & Compensation Solutions in Queens, NY seeks an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist with 5+ years of AP/AR experience and expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This in-office role handles invoicing, payments, reconciliations, and month-end close.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, credit memos, and expense reports.
• Prepare ACH, wire, and check payment runs.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices.
• Post and apply payments and reconcile customer accounts.
• Monitor aging reports and support collections efforts.
• Maintain vendor and customer records.
• Assist with AP and AR subledger-to-GL reconciliations.
• Support month-end close and audit preparation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing and payment issues.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for daily accounting functions.
