Job summary

AceTex Group is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Clerk to join its finance team in Detroit. You will manage day-to-day AP/AR duties, support month-end close, and help maintain accurate financial records in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and committed to high-quality work, with strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software, ERP systems, and effective communication with vendors and customers.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, payments, and employee reimbursements
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment posting, and collections follow-up
• Reconcile vendor statements and customer accounts
• Assist with month-end closing tasks and general ledger maintenance
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation
• Support the accounting team with additional tasks as needed
