Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years accounting/bookkeeping/clerical experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and accounting software/ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices.
• Verify invoices, purchase orders, and supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Prepare and process customer invoices and apply incoming payments.
• Monitor accounts receivable balances and assist with collections.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and files.
• Perform data entry into accounting and ERP systems.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules.
• Respond to vendor and customer inquiries regarding payments and balances.
• Assist with audits by gathering requested documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
