Job summary

CFS, a Wisconsin-based advanced materials manufacturer, is seeking an AP & AR Specialist to join its accounting team. The role offers exposure to a dynamic, technical manufacturing environment and ownership of core AP/AR processes.

With 2+ years of accounting experience, you will manage payables and receivables, reconcile statements, assist month-end close, and collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice review, coding, approvals, and vendor payments.
• Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, collections, cash application, and customer account maintenance.
• Reconcile vendor statements, customer accounts, and related balance sheet accounts.
• Partner with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely payment processing.
• Assist with month-end close activities, reporting, and continuous improvement of AP and AR processes.
