Job summary

CFS, an innovative advanced materials manufacturer, is seeking an AP & AR Specialist to join its accounting team in Wisconsin. You will own accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows, review invoices, code entries, and support vendor payments and collections.

Working in a dynamic, technically oriented environment, you will help maintain strong vendor and customer relationships, assist with month-end close, and contribute to process improvements that boost accuracy and cash flow.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in AP/AR or general accounting required.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice review, coding, approvals, and vendor payments
• Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, collections, cash application, and customer account maintenance
• Reconcile vendor statements, customer accounts, and related balance sheet accounts
• Partner with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely payment processing
• Assist with month-end close activities, reporting, and continuous improvement of AP and AR processes
