American Vision Partners (AVP) seeks a Team Lead to oversee and manage all clinical technician staff, ensuring patient testing is scheduled, performed, and documented with accuracy and efficiency.

You will supervise the workflow, review chief complaints, perform pretests, educate staff, and support the provider while ensuring proper EHR entries, accurate coding, and compliant billing. This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and a focus on team training and clinic productivity.

Qualificações

• Certified COA or COT preferred.
• Experience supervising clinical operations.
• Strong ophthalmic care knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proven ability to lead and train staff.

Responsabilidades

• Scribes for the provider by entering dictated information into EHR.
• Fills patient rooms and escorts patients as needed.
• Review chief complaint and prelim work‑up for accuracy.
• Perform pretests (tonometry, refraction, lensometry) with aseptic setup.
• Ensure patient flow stays within scheduled time blocks.
• Manage scheduling accuracy and provider availability.
• Oversee billing and coding entries in EHR.
• Educate patients on ophthalmic conditions and procedures.
