Job summary

Netflix Series Animation (NSA) is seeking a Post Production Engineer in Los Angeles to provide frontline engineering triage for editors and assistants. You will keep Avid, Premiere, and DaVinci Resolve running, manage shared storage, and configure editorial workstations and color workflows.

The role requires 5–7 years in post production engineering, strong remote-desktop experience, VPN knowledge, and proficiency with Avid Nexis, SMB/NFS, Python or Bash basics. Union affiliation may apply.

Qualifications

5–7 years in post production engineering or technical support in a studio setting.
Experience with remote protocols and troubleshooting remote desktop endpoints.
Knowledge of VPN clients and home network troubleshooting.
Expertise in Avid MC, Pro Tools, Premiere and related editing tools.
Familiarity with Avid Nexis storage, SMB, and NFS permissions.
ACSR certification preferred; IATSE Local 700 position under a union agreement.

Responsibilities

Provide frontline, rapid-response support and engineering triage for editors and assistants.
Maintain core post production software such as Avid, Premiere, and DaVinci Resolve.
Oversee storage operations, manage pools and access permissions for post workstations.
Configure workstations, video routing, displays, and color calibration.
Create system diagrams and workflow guides for editorial bays.
Assist with ingest, rendering, and data transfers in daily post production workflows.
