Job summary

Company 3 is seeking a Systems Engineer to support a multi-site post-production environment. You will manage Linux servers and desktops, ensure reliable infrastructure, and assist with production workflows and client-facing operations to keep delivery on schedule.

The role combines systems administration, infrastructure engineering, and hands-on troubleshooting across hardware, software, storage, networking, and media systems. Experience with Resolve, Avid, and Adobe products is highly valued.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of Linux server and desktop environments.
• Solid knowledge of MacOS and Windows platforms.
• Programming or scripting experience with Python, Bash, C/C++, Java or similar.
• Experience building and operating high availability and high scalability computing systems.
• Experience in Film/TV/post-production environments with Resolve, Avid and Adobe products.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support servers, workstations, network services, storage platforms, virtual infrastructure, databases, user accounts, licensing services, email technologies, firewalls, backups.
• Analyze, tune, and improve systems for performance and reliability to support production schedules.
• Evaluate system components and networks for reliability, performance, and security.
• Calibrate and support monitors, projectors, and display systems for color-critical viewing.
• Install and support video/audio systems used in post-production, including signal routing and room infrastructure.
• Perform equipment installation, cabling, testing, and infrastructure support.
• Evaluate business requirements and make hardware purchase recommendations.
