Job summary

Netflix Series Animation (NSA) seeks a seasoned Post Production Engineer to provide frontline triage and systems support for editors and assistants. You will keep Avid, Premiere, and DaVinci Resolve running, manage shared storage and permissions, and assist with ingest/render workflows across the studio.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in post production engineering, strong remote protocol experience, and familiarity with VPNs, ACLs, and ACSR certification.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of work in post production engineering or technical support within a post production facility or studio environment.
• Experience with remote protocols and troubleshooting remote desktop hardware endpoints.
• Knowledge of VPN clients, home network troubleshooting, and ACLs.
• ACSR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline, rapid-response support and engineering triage for editors and assistant editors encountering hardware, software, connectivity, or performance issues.
• Maintain and support post production systems, including shared storage platforms used by editors.
• Manage storage pools and user access permissions for post production pipelines.
• Configure workstations, video routing, and color calibration for editorial displays.
• Create system diagrams and workflow guides for editorial bays support.
• Assist with ingest, rendering, and data transfers as it relates to post production.
