Job summary

Ashton North LLC in Rutland, Vermont seeks a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join a collaborative team serving as the exclusive anesthesia provider at a community hospital. This full-time daytime role includes 3–4 weekday call shifts per month and works with CAAs and CRNAs in a collegial environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology and eligible for Vermont license.
• Current ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for surgical and procedural cases.
• Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop appropriate anesthesia plans.
• Administer general, regional, and MAC anesthesia.
• Monitor patients intraoperatively and manage hemodynamic stability.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nursing staff, CRNAs, and CAAs.
• Participate in shared weekday call schedule (3–4 shifts per month).
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
