Job summary

Saint Cyr Partners seeks a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join a collaborative team at a community hospital in Rutland, Vermont. You will provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical and procedural cases in a supportive, team-based environment.

You will conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations, plan anesthesia care, administer various anesthesia modalities, monitor patients, and contribute to post-anesthesia care and pain management.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Eligible for Vermont medical license and hospital privileges.
• ACLS certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe anesthesia care for surgical and procedural cases.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop anesthesia plans.
• Administer general, regional, and MAC anesthesia.
• Monitor intraoperative status and maintain hemodynamic stability.
• Coordinate post-anesthesia care and pain management.
• Collaborate with surgeons, CRNAs, CAAs and nursing staff.
• Participate in weekday call schedule (3–4 shifts/month).
• Ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
