Job summary

Vogrinc Search Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join a collaborative anesthesia team at a community hospital in Rutland, Vermont. This full-time role includes day shifts with an average of 3–4 weekday call shifts per month, working alongside CAAs and CRNAs in a team-based environment.

The position emphasizes patient safety, comprehensive pre-op evaluations, and a broad range of anesthesia modalities, with strong emphasis on documentation and regulatory

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Eligible for Vermont medical license and hospital privileges.
• ACLS certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for surgical and procedural cases.
• Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop appropriate anesthesia plans.
• Administer general, regional, and MAC anesthesia.
• Monitor patients intraoperatively and manage hemodynamic stability.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nursing staff, CRNAs, and CAAs.
• Participate in shared weekday call schedule (3–4 shifts per month on average).
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation in accordance with hospital standards.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory, credentialing, and quality standards.
