Job summary

Intuit is offering a Mobile Software Engineer Intern - Android position as part of its Emerging Talent Program, a 12-week summer internship designed to align with university calendars.

You will write production Android code in Kotlin/Java, collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers, and use AI-assisted tools to speed development. You’ll gain hands-on experience across Intuit’s ecosystem—TurboTax, QuickBooks, Credit Karma, Mailchimp—and contribute to real customer impact.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a degree-seeking program with expected graduation after internship.
• Experience building Android applications, preferably with Kotlin.
• Familiarity with Android architecture, Jetpack, MVVM, and modern development practices.
• Strong problem-solving and independent initiative; solid communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test features for Android applications from UI to services.
• Write clean, well-tested Kotlin and Java code; participate in code reviews.
• Debug and resolve defects across the app and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate work and share learnings with the team.
• Support deployment and ongoing maintenance of shipped features.
