Job summary

Intuit Inc. in Mountain View is seeking a Mobile Software Engineer Intern - Android for a 12‑week summer internship as part of the Emerging Talent Program.

You will write production Android code alongside experienced engineers, using AI tools to move faster and deliver features to real customers. You’ll design, build, and test Android features, collaborate with designers and product managers, and learn best practices in software development while contributing to TurboTax, QuickBooks, Credit

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a degree‑seeking program with an expected graduation date after the internship ends.
• Experience building Android apps, preferably with Kotlin.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the internship.
• Familiarity with Android architecture and development frameworks (Jetpack, MVVM).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test features for Intuit's Android applications, from UI to services.
• Write clean, well‑tested Kotlin and Java code and participate in code reviews.
• Debug defects across the app and trace issues from UI to the stack.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to turn requirements into working software.
• Use AI‑assisted development tools to accelerate your workflow and share learnings with the team.
• Support deployment and ongoing maintenance of features you help ship.
