Job summary

Intuit offers a 12-week summer internship. As a Mobile Software Engineer Intern - Android, you will build Android apps across TurboTax, QuickBooks, Credit Karma, and Mailchimp, writing Kotlin/Java code and learning AI-assisted development tools.

You will work with engineers, designers, and product managers to turn requirements into working software, gain hands-on experience with the full mobile stack, and participate in mentorship and cross-functional projects in a hybrid office setting.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a degree program with an expected graduation after internship.
• Familiarity with AI tools and curiosity about AI in real-world problems.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US for the duration of the internship.
• Ability to work in a hybrid Intuit office location with relocation stipend provided.
• Experience building Android apps, ideally with Kotlin.
• Familiarity with Android architecture and development frameworks (Jetpack, Coroutines, MVVM).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test features for Intuit's Android apps, from UI to services.
• Write clean Kotlin and Java code, and participate in code reviews.
• Debug and resolve defects from the UI down through the stack.
• Partner with engineers, designers, and product managers to turn requirements into working software.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate your workflow.
• Support deployment and ongoing maintenance of features you ship.
