Job summary

Intuit invites you to join its Mobile Software Engineer Intern - Android program for a 12-week summer internship. You will build Android experiences across TurboTax, QuickBooks, Credit Karma, and Mailchimp, writing production Kotlin/Java code with guidance from mentors.

You’ll work on real features, learn best practices in software development, and gain hands‑on experience using AI tools to accelerate work.

Qualifications

Current enrollment in a degree-seeking program with an expected graduation after the internship.
Legally eligible to work in the United States for the duration of the internship.
Experience building Android apps, ideally with Kotlin.
Willingness to work in a hybrid Intuit office location with relocation stipend.
Familiarity with Android architectures and development frameworks (Jetpack, MVVM).

Responsibilities

Design, build, and test features for Android apps from UI to services.
Write clean Kotlin/Java code and participate in code reviews.
Debug and resolve defects across the app and trace issues through the stack.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to turn requirements into working software.
Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate your workflow and share learnings.
Support the deployment and ongoing maintenance of shipped features.
