Job summary

Silver Mountain Construction, LLC (SMC) is seeking a Site Superintendent to lead field activities in Anchorage, AK. The role requires on-site leadership, coordination with subcontractors, safety adherence, and quality control across trades to meet contract specs and schedules.

The candidate will manage daily on-site operations, assist with planning and estimates, and ensure compliance with federal installation requirements while maintaining strong communication with clients and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of recent experience as a Superintendent or lead role on large projects.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and on-site teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the project maintains the schedule by planning, monitoring, and inspecting work.
• Prepare schedules or assist scheduler for pay estimates and look-ahead.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and compliance with specs.
• Inspect trades and ensure work meets plans and quality standards.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Support project estimates, bid packages, and budget preparation.
