Job summary

Silver Mountain Construction, LLC (SMC) is seeking a Site Superintendent to lead on-site construction activities in Anchorage, AK. The role requires coordinating trades, managing subcontractors and suppliers, and ensuring work meets plans, specs, and safety standards.

The superintendent will oversee scheduling, quality control, and coordination with project management while maintaining open communication with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with a minimum of ten years’ recent experience as a superintendent or lead on large construction renovation projects with multiple trades.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of OSHA safety practices and applicable codes/regulations.
• Experience with project estimates, budgets, and schedule coordination.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project schedule by organizing planning, monitoring, and inspections.
• Prepare pay estimates and 3-week look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients on-site.
• Inspect workmanship and ensure conformance with plans and specs.
• Read drawings and interpret plans and specifications.
• Lead weekly progress meetings and assist in QC/preparatory inspections.
