Job summary

OneMain Financial is seeking an Analytics Manager for the Card Analytics team in Wilmington, DE, with a hybrid schedule. This role focuses on developing risk management strategies and delivering analytics insights to reduce losses while enabling growth of the credit card portfolio.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to report, implement and validate strategies, conduct segmentation and competitive analyses, and optimize targeting using multiple data sources, while ensuring data quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline and 5+ years of related experience.
• SQL knowledge highly preferred.
• SAS experience preferred.
• Strong Excel/MS Office skills.
• 5+ years of experience in a complex, data-driven problem-solving environment.
• Lending or consumer finance industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report, implement and validate strategies; perform ad-hoc analyses.
• Conduct customer segmentation, competitive and sensitivity analyses.
• Design and execute targeting optimization using multiple data sources.
• Use SQL, SAS and Python to develop and test new strategies.
• Ensure data quality through quality control processes.
• Enhance existing processes and reporting through automation and insights.
• Present results and insights to management.
• Develop analytical approaches to solve problems.
