Job summary

OneMain Financial is seeking an Analytics Manager to join our Card Analytics team in Charlotte, NC or Wilmington, DE, with a hybrid schedule. You will develop risk management strategies and provide analytics insights to mitigate losses and enable growth of our credit card portfolio.

Under supervision, you will design, implement, and validate targeting optimizations using SQL, SAS, and Python; conduct customer segmentation and ad-hoc analyses; and communicate findings to management to influence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required or preferred.
• SQL knowledge highly preferred.
• SAS experience preferred.
• Strong Excel/MS Office skills required.
• 5+ years of experience in a data-driven problem-solving environment.
• Lending or consumer finance industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report, strategy implementation, and strategy validation.
• Ad-hoc analyses including customer segmentation, competitive analysis, and modeling.
• Design, document, and execute targeting optimization using multiple data sources.
• Utilize SQL, SAS, Python and analytical software to develop and test new strategies.
• Implement quality control to ensure data accuracy.
• Enhance processes and reporting through automation and insights.
• Summarize and present results to management.
