Job summary

Affirm is a remote-first company based in the United States, with a focus on secure fraud prevention for depository products. You’ll partner with Product, Engineering, ML, Data Engineering, Fraud Operations, and Risk to refine identity verification and fraud processes while improving the application flow.

You will own fraud performance, build data pipelines, and lead strategy changes to balance loss prevention with customer experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Analytics experience.
• Fluent in SQL and Python.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across product, engineering and risk teams.

Responsibilities

• Own fraud performance metrics for depository products including losses, approvals, false positives and customer friction.
• Build scalable data models and pipelines (DBT) to standardize data across products and risk.
• Develop dashboards, scorecards and monitoring to reveal fraud trends and portfolio health.
• Lead testing and optimization of fraud rules, models and policies with cross-functional partners.
