Job summary

Common App is seeking an Analytics Engineer to evolve our shared data warehouse, semantic layer, and data assets for scalable analytics. You will partner with Data Engineering and Applied Analytics to deliver insight-ready data while enforcing governance in the enterprise data platform.

The role focuses on data modeling, pipeline design, and automated quality frameworks with a strong emphasis on self-service analytics for BI and AI workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field is required.
• 5-8 years of analytics engineering or data platform experience.
• Experience with enterprise data warehouses at scale.
• Experience with data governance and PII controls.

Responsibilities

• Evolve Common App's data warehouse, semantic layer, and reusable data assets for scalable analytics.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Applied Analytics to deliver insight-ready data.
• Design automated data quality frameworks and monitoring for production datasets.
• Maintain warehouse documentation and architect scalable data products.
